RAF West Raynham
Land Contamination
We're always working to protect the environment. This months long term project is a land contamination remediation with T&S Environmental. Works have begun on phase 1 decontamination of the Sewage treatment works at RAF West Raynham, Norfolk. Our works entail a full watching brief, personal and background air sampling, during excavation of asbestos contaminated ground and soil/further ground investigations, until all the contamination has been removed. Ford - Dunton Technical Centre Asbestos Remediation
Air Testing/Analytical Works
We are currently engaged on a larges project at The Ford Dunton Technical Centre in Laindon, Essex working alongside the appointed asbestos removal contractor; Ebrit Services Ltd.
Our appointment on what is expected to be the first of many upcoming large scale projects on site, is to provide all UKAS accredited air testing activities during decontamination of the main boiler room.
This includes working in temperatures in excess of 32 degrees Celsius, meaning our analysts have to work in accordance with hot working procedures.
Once the decontamination has been successfully carried out we will also be issuing all 4-stage clearance certification and certificates of re-occupation, so that normal operation of the boiler house can resume.
